Space Capone
Space Capone
The artist Aaron Winters, otherwise known as Space, is bringing a fresh new sound to the music scene. Funk driven R&B has triumphantly returned. With cool, smooth vocals and classic funk laden rhythms, Space Capone has blasted onto the national stage in the last year with a performance at the College Music Marathon, an interview with TBS Weekend Extra and a multitude of shows from Baton Rouge to Philly.
Space is a self proclaimed student of music, and the artful way his soul pours out on stage is evidence that his words don't lie. From the mold of the great R&B, Funk and Soul greats of old, Space Capone brings to bear sharp compositions that run the gamut of the genre's musical stylings. For his live show, Space Capone never disappoints, with a full wind section and back up singers along with the core band, he wows onlookers with high energy and spot on showmanship.
Space made his way to Nashville near seven years ago as a new musical mind. Long ago, there was such a thing called artist development, but no one has taken that time in quite a while. Calvin Turner and Neal Dahlgren decided that Space was an artist worth cultivating. For those seven years leading up to his debut, they bounced ideas, offered criticisms and worked strongly to make the performance, the craft, better.
Space Capone's new album is scheduled for a May 7th release. His first effort, entitled Volume 1: Transformation, is available pretty much anywhere digital records are sold.
